Everything you want to know about staying at Uyut Hotel
For more than 20 years, Uyut Hotel has welcomed guests to the very center of Almaty. Over those two decades we have answered thousands of questions from travellers planning a first visit to Kazakhstan, from business guests arriving for a single night, and from families settling in for a longer stay. We have gathered the questions we hear most often on this page so that you can plan your trip with confidence before you even pick up the phone. If your question is not covered below, our reception works around the clock and will be glad to help.
Check-in, check-out and the reception desk
Check-in at Uyut Hotel begins at 14:00 and check-out is until 12:00. The reception desk is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week, so it never matters how late your flight lands or how early you need to leave — someone is always there to hand over your keys, arrange a taxi or answer a question. If you expect to arrive in the small hours of the morning, simply let our reservations team know in advance and we will keep everything ready for you.
Early check-in and late check-out can often be arranged depending on how full the hotel is on the day. Because availability changes constantly, we recommend confirming these requests directly with reception rather than assuming them — a short call to the numbers on our contacts page is all it takes.
What are the deposit and cancellation rules?
On arrival we take a refundable security deposit equal to one night’s cost. This is standard practice and simply covers incidentals; the full amount is returned to you at check-out once the room has been handed back in good order. Detailed terms for reservations, changes and cancellations are set out on our booking conditions and hotel rules pages, which we encourage every guest to read before arrival.
Rooms, rates and what is included
Uyut Hotel offers 115 rooms across six categories, so there is a comfortable option for every kind of trip and budget. Nightly rates (single / double) are:
- Standard — 18 m² — rates on request — practical rooms for business trips.
- Superior Standart — 20 m² — rates on request — a little more space and ergonomic comfort.
- Comfort De Luxe — 35 m² — rates on request — spacious, ideal for families or business.
- Superior Comfort De Luxe — rates on request — extra room for stays of several days.
- Junior Suite — 45 m² — rates on request — calm European style for one or two guests plus a child.
- Suite (2 rooms) — 52 m² — rates on request — a separate bedroom and living room in business class.
Crucially, every rate includes the same core benefits: a buffet breakfast, free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel, a complimentary first hour in the VIP sauna with pool, and full access to the fitness center. You can compare all categories side by side in our room catalogue or review the full price list at a glance.
Which room should I choose?
If you are travelling alone for work, a Standard or Superior Standart is efficient and comfortable. Families and guests who value extra space tend to prefer the Comfort De Luxe or Junior Suite, while the two-room Suite suits longer visits and guests who like to separate work and rest. Children aged 0 to 6 stay free of charge.
Breakfast, sauna, fitness and other services
A buffet breakfast is included with every room and is served each morning in our restaurant, which prepares both European and Kazakh cuisine and also caters business lunches, banquets and coffee breaks. The first hour in the VIP sauna with pool is free for in-house guests; after that the sauna is rates on request per hour for up to four people. Access to the fitness center is likewise free for guests, so you can keep up your routine whether you are here on business or on holiday.
Beyond that, we offer dry cleaning and laundry (standard turnaround around 12 hours, express in 6–8 hours), fully equipped conference halls for events of up to 100 people, and guided excursions to the mountains, lakes and landmarks around Almaty.
Do you arrange airport transfer and excursions?
Yes. Our transfer service meets guests at the airport or railway station in a comfortable car for rates on request for a group of up to three people. The hotel is roughly 20–25 minutes by car from the international airport and about 10 minutes from the railway station, so transfers are quick and stress-free. Excursions can be booked for individuals or groups — just ask reception when you arrive.
Location, payment and documents
Uyut Hotel stands at 127/1 Gogol Street, on the corner of Seifullin Avenue, right in the heart of Almaty and within easy reach of the city’s business district, shops and sights. We accept cash, bank transfer and cards including VISA, MasterCard, EuroCard and JCB, and we offer corporate and group discounts. How do foreign guests register?
Kazakhstan requires that foreign arrivals be registered with the migration service. Uyut Hotel handles this for you: as the operating company, Dostyk-Service LLP notifies the migration service of foreign arrivals through the eQonaq system, so there is nothing extra for you to file. Simply present a valid passport at check-in and we take care of the rest.
